Join the Friends of Nob Hill Nature Park on Saturday, April 6 from 1 to 4 pm for the half-yearly volunteer work party at Nob Hill Nature Park in St Helens. This time, we’ll work on the slope below the park, to remove invasive lunaria and add new native plants. Nob Hill is a 6.6-acre oak woodland overlooking the Columbia River.
Dress for the weather, in layers, and bring snacks and water. Apple juice and light snacks are also provided. To RSVP or for more information, contact our non-profit partner group, Scappoose Bay Watershed Council at (503) 397-7904, or email to email@example.com.
Meet at park’s main entrance across from water treatment plant at 451 Plymouth Street. From Hwy 30, take Gable Rd toward the river. Bear right onto N Plymouth Street and keep bearing right. Parking is on the right, across from water treatment facility. For help on day of work party, call 503-349-8586.
