McCormick Park Work Party!

The Scappoose Bay Watershed Council and the City of Saint Helens Parks and recreation program are partnering together to remove noxious weeds such as English Ivy, English Holly, Lesser Celandine and Shining Geranium to help improve the habitat and support native plants along Milton Creek. Milton Creek is known to be an anchor habitat for Salmon and other species of wildlife. We hope you can come join us to help provide some tender love and care to one of the most beautiful parks in the City of Saint Helens.
We’ll be meeting at McCormick Park on:
Saturday, May 7th
AM Session: 9 AM to 12 PM
PM Session: 1PM to 4 PM
Activities will include:
- Picking up trash
- Pulling weeds
- Air-gapping tree Ivy
- Spending time in Nature
