Native Plant Identification and Seed Saving

July 31 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Learn how to identify native plants and save their seeds. Presenters will cover identifying native wildflowers, seed saving techniques and propagation methods. Seeds will be available for you to take and grow.

Presenters:

Lona Pierce learned about wildflowers and native ecosystems at OSU. She has assisted at trying to protect our rare remnant wildflower meadows.
Sophie Verdoorn has an Environmental Studies degree from PSU and works for the Scappoose Bay Watershed Council. She enjoys learning about and propagating native plant species.
