Scappoose Bay Marina Clean Up + Kayaking!

Join the Scappoose Bay Watershed Council at the Scappoose Bay Marina while we work to take care of one of the most beautiful marinas in Columbia County! We will be weeding two flower beds, removing noxious plants from the Scappoose Bay Marina Trails and removing trash from along the waterline! This event promises to be a fantastic opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy some fresh air and comradery with other members of the community!

After a satisfying morning of work we’ll end with lunch and a relaxing kayak on the bay.

Please wear closed-toe shoes and long plants to avoid poison oak and the thorns on Himalayan Blackberry bushes. Feel free to bring a change of clothes for kayaking. Other great things to bring: gardening gloves, a reusable water bottle, sunscreen, a hat/sunglasses, binoculars for birding on the bay, and a smile! 🙂
