Volunteer Work Party at Veterans Park

• This work party will include moving mulch by wheelbarrow or buckets, to spread around previously planted trees and shrubs.
• We will also be daylighting/weeding around the trees and shrubs. By doing this, it will help make the area look better but most importantly will help the plants we have put in thrive better! *Please read statement near the bottom for this part of our work party*
• Veterans Park is part of an ongoing restoration project between SBWC, the City of Scappoose, and in partnership with LCEP.
• Please come prepared for rainy weather, boots and raincoats are highly recommended! We will provide all needed tools, gloves, as well as water and snacks!
• Meet at the large covered area next to the playground.

*At this volunteer session we will be utilizing clippers and sharper tools, to be safe we ask that all children under 12 years old be supervised/assisted by an adult.
