SUMMARY:Volunteer Work Party at Veterans Park
DESCRIPTION:Join SBWC on Saturday\, March 2nd\, 10am-1pm for our volunteer work party at Veterans Park in Scappoose\, Oregon.\n\n\nThis work party will include moving mulch by wheelbarrow or buckets\, to spread around previously planted trees and shrubs.\nWe will also be daylighting/weeding around the trees and shrubs. By doing this\, it will help make the area look better but most importantly will help the plants we have put in thrive better! *Please read statement near the bottom for this part of our work party*\nVeterans Park is part of an ongoing restoration project between SBWC\, the City of Scappoose\, and in partnership with LCEP.\nPlease come prepared for rainy weather\, boots and raincoats are highly recommended! We will provide all needed tools\, gloves\, as well as water and snacks!\nMeet at the large covered area next to the playground.\n\n*At this volunteer session we will be utilizing clippers and sharper tools\, to be safe we ask that all children under 12 years old be supervised/assisted by an adult. \nPlease RSVP ahead so we can accurately accommodate for everyone that will be there!\nAlso feel free to contact us for any information on this volunteer work party at 503-397-7904.
