The Sauvie Island & Multnomah Channel Bottomlands Conservation Opportunities resource was produced in partnership with the West Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation and Wetlands Conservancy. SBWC Board Member, Jane Hartline, and SBWC Coordinator, Pat Welle, were co-authors. The goals of the document are to inform, identify opportunity, inspire, and encourage conservation projects by multiple agencies, organizations, and landowners. It covers topics ranging from Native American history and early American settlement, to resources on wildlife, native plants, and invasive species.
