Briana Knez

Board Member

Briana is an avid naturalist whose love for nature was sparked by a rural upbringing with access to a local creek. They have a passion for community engagement via volunteerism including Columbia County Master Gardeners, Portland Food Forest Initiative, and serving as a board member of the Portland Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Oregon. Briana engages in lifelong learning including courses like Wildwood Folk School’s year long foraging immersion, OSU’s PDC, and Oregon Farm Corps’ farmer education program. She resides in Columbia County with her partner, where they are transforming their lawn into a native plant ecosystem.
