Living on the Water – Workshop

The Council has been working with local marinas and the West Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District on a resource guide for Marina and Floating Home Owners. It provides information on effective and practical methods to protect your property and minimize impacts of living on the water, including moorage facilities, home operation and maintenance, local plants and animals, and much more.

Please join us for presentations and discussions on methods and practices to improve your living experience on the water, and caring for our surroundings. Topics will include an introduction of the Guide, a presentation from DEQ on Water Quality along the Multnomah Channel and Lower Willamette, and vegetation and habitat management along the river by WMSWCD’s Senior Conservationist.
